Hi. I'm Christina J Archuleta, BS, LMT, CMLDT. I received my Bachelor of Science in Health Management from Southeast Missouri State University back in the '90's. After living in Colorado for a few years, I completed the 700-Hour Massage Therapy Certification Program at the Colorado School of Healing Arts in Lakewood in 2001.
I practiced for over five years in Steamboat Springs and the Denver Metro area in a resort spa, medical spa, chiropractic offices and in private practice. After being away from massage therapy for years, I am now a Licensed Massage Therapist, and I pursued additional training in the Vodder technique to become a Certified Manual Lymph Drainage Therapist in March of 2025.
I believe strongly in the power of healing touch, and I feel that massge therapy and bodywork are great tools to augment health and to promote healing and wellness of all sorts - physical, mental and emotional. As I was exploring new healthcare career paths in my 50's, I finally realized where I was meant to be.
I decided to restart my massage business after 17 years. I started studying for my massage licensing exam - passed it. Applied for my license - got it. I refreshed my skills and practiced my techniques by giving many, many massages. I took continuing education to gain additional skills. And finally, I have opened my solo studio in Fort Collins.
When starting this journey, I was drawn to "Joy." I was hearing it all around me. Friends were talking about finding joy in their family activities. Other friends were intentionally chosing to find joy in life when things that were out of their control were not going their way. And so was I.
With each step, I found Joy. Joy in helping others. Joy in following my own path. Joy in learning. Joy in success. And Joy is my middle name.
So welcome to Find Joy Massage and Bodywork. I hope to see you soon.
